The Walking Bus
Over Hall Community School are proud of their Walking Bus, staff collect the children at the following stops from the Over (Mount Pleasant) Estate and walk to school safely together.

As an extra initiative, parents/carers can drop their child/ren off at the last Walking Bus stop on Cheviot Square car park, where a member of the Walking Bus staff will meet your child/ren and walk to school together.

Our Walking Bus is often used by families who are finding it difficult to get their child/ren to School, be it for work commitments, health or general behaviour. Studies show that fewer children are walking or biking to School, and more children are at risk of becoming overweight. Therefore our Walking Bus not only promotes health, road safety and punctuality, it can also be a positive start to the school day.
